Hy-Dry Dehumidification Technology
Lowest Operating Cost
Most Efficient for New Systems
Most Efficient for Older Systems
Hy-Dry patented technology provides an affordable moisture removal increase by as much
as 75% relative to existing systems without Hy-Dry. This lower humidity allows your
building to change from "cold and clammy" to cool and dry fresh air. Everyone in
the building will enjoy the ultimate comfort.
A Cure for "Sick Building Syndrome"
"The most important factor in reducing airborne mold and
bacteria count is the control of moisture in the air." - Office of Toxicology and
Hazard Assessment
Excessive humidity can lead to objectionable moisture levels in a building's duct work
which caauses buildup of mold and bacteria. This can foster an unhealthy environment or
"sick building syndrome". Getting rid of this humidity saves energy and
maintenance costs, too!
Higher Cooling Efficiency
Higher cooling efficiency is gained when your building no longer is burdened with high
humidity. As the humidity is reduced, your cooling increases. By dehumidification, Hy-Dry
can attain more for your cooling dollar.
Custom Built Hy-Dry Coils
Each Hy-Dry coil is custom built for your specific application and performs two functions
simultaneously. It subcools the refrigerant entering the cooling coil by as much as 50
degrees, resulting in a 25% increase in evaporator capacity, which enables the evaporator
to wring up to 75% more moisture out of the air. The heat given up by the Hy-Dry coil
isn't wasted: the small amount of temperature increase lowers the relative humidity in the
system's duct work and abates the buildup of airborne mold and bacteria that causes the
undesirable "sick building syndrome". Best of all, Hy-Dry does it with lower
energy costs.
Simplicity Cuts Your Investment
The key benefit of the system is the use of internal energy only. No external heat,
neither gas nor electric, is used for reheat. The system does not require an increase in
fan horsepower. Hy-Dry makes use of otherwise wasted energy to give you a much more
efficient system. It's simple and is as easy to install as it is effective. That's
efficiency!
Additional Savings
As a bonus, you recieve the patented Hy-Save system. Dramatic energy savings are obtained
with this "floating head pressure" system, which allows your equipment to
operate at the lowest possible head pressures. Many users have seen the results of this
remarkable technology's energy savings, reduced maintenance, and longer equipment life.
Manufacturers utilize the system, as well as customers who have had systems retrofitted
with the LPA and Liquid Injection. National chains realize that saving energy adds profits
to their operation and have demanded more from their cooling systems. Hy-Save delivered
for them and our engineers can deliver for you, too. We're as close as your phone.
Supermarkets
Many store engineers are aware of the benefits of reducing the humidity in their
facilities. Reduction of latent heat loads on the store refrigeration saves as much as 13%
on energy used. Energy is consumed in the formation of frost on the evaporators in the
cases. This buildup of frost reduces the heat transfer and efficiency of the system. Not
only does the frost buildup consume energy, it takes energy to get rid of the frost.
Reduction of humidity pays dividends year after year.
Additional savings can be realized by reducing mullion heater loads. Until now,
equipment for this moisture control has been expensive to buy and maintain. Hy-Dry now can
meet those needs with a minimum of investment. It will not only save on installation
costs, it will reduce the energy use of the air conditioning as well as the refrigeration
system.
Products stay frost-free and are more attractive to the shopper. Hy-Dry can help at a
price you can afford.

"I am pleased to report that we are delighted with the
effectiveness of the dehumidification equipment which you installed not long ago in the
Eckerd College Library. Frequent checks have shown that the humidity is almost constant at
50%, which is excellent, both for our books and for copy paper. We have found no new mold
on any library volumes since you completed your installation."
