This chart clearly shows the benefit of the LPA Retrofit in lower condensing temperatures with the liquid temperature dropping 30F from 92F to 62F compared with the w/o LPA range of 91F to 96F. This effectively increases the system capacity as the R-22 refrigeration effect alone increases by approximately 0.5% per degree in this temperature range. Also comparing the liquid temperature measurements with the SCT shows approximately 10F of subcooling out of the condenser.
