The data for this chart was also compiled using the measured head pressure/SCT data and the Trane compressor capacity data at 40F suction, as accurate capacity measurements were beyond the scope of this test. The increase in capacity at the lower ambient is due primarily to the increased enthalpy content of the R-22 refrigerant.
